It won’t hurt! A 10-year old EPA report says it won’t help so therefore no one can actually say that cleaning your ducts will help your allergies. If the duct work is properly cleaned, it should not hurt or irritate your allergies. According to furnace manufacturers, your furnace should be cleaned and inspected on an annual basis. So it only makes sense that your ducts would get dirty too. I would consider doing it even if I had a new home. There could be building materials or trash in your duct work.

Spring is right around the corner and you’ll soon be out enjoying the warmer temperatures and washing the winter salt from your vehicle. If you notice the water pressure coming from your hose just isn’t the same as you remember, you may have released a flood into your basement.
Many homes have an outdoor hose faucet that is ground level and comes out of the foundation wall at the basement of the house. If water is in the neck of the faucet, it can easily freeze when temperatures dive, expanding the copper, resulting in a split in the line. This damage won’t be apparent until the faucet is turned on at the next use.
Odorox, What Is It? by Jeff
The short answer is that Odorox is a “Green Method” of cleansing the air of all odors and contaminates using sunlight. A more in depth description is that Odorox is a non chemical cleaning technology that recreates nature’s way of eliminating odors, harmful bacteria, and volatile organic compounds. This is accomplished when the unit draws contaminated air into the machines chamber and the humidity from the contaminated air is combined with multiple frequencies of UV light. The decontaminated air is released back into the room. Odorox is more versatile than traditional air scrubbers or thermo foggers and can restore many items previously thought to be unsalvageable. This method is safe for people, pets, plants, and sensitive materials. In many cases Odorox can allow homeowners to stay in their homes and business owners to continue business. Odorox can be used in conjunction with other cleaning methods and can cut restoration cost by eliminating the need to clean upholsteries.

In any insurance policy, the deductible is the portion of any claim that is not covered by the insurance provider. It is the amount of expenses that must be paid out of pocket before an insurer will cover any expenses. When the owner files a claim their claim does not start until their deductible is met. Common deductible amounts are $250, $500, $1000, or even 1% of your policy limits. The deductible is the amount of money that comes out of your pocket before the insurance money kicks in.
