Water Damage
This water damage job is in a basement that was framed with metal studs. Unless the lower portion of drywall is removed there will be standing water in the U-shaped bottom plate (commonly found on all metal stud walls). Sometimes "drying companies" are not aware of this, or what is behind the drywall. This is beacuse they are not contractors. They tend to generally dry through walls and use 'top down" drying technique's. In most cases that is fine. But this job is a perfect example of THE EXCEPETION. The water will eventually evaporate if the home is acclimated, but by that time mold will most likely be forming on the back side of the drywall and the paper facing of the insulation.
